PHD
A Northern California native, I moved to Pennsylvania to earn my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Haverford College. After taking several years off, I went back to school for Clinical Psychology at the University of Washington, in Seattle. I completed my Ph.D. in 2007, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at Boys Town. I have been employed since then as a Clinical Psychologist at Children’s Nebraska (formerly Children’s Hospital & Medical Center), working with children, adolescents, adults and families. After years of working within a great agency, but far from home and family, I have finally moved back to the Pacific Northwest. When I am not at work, you can find me reading, playing with my three amazing children, or making music with immediate, extended, and chosen families.

I am a doctorate-prepared psychiatry mental health nurse practitioner. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Washington. Before obtaining a doctorate, I worked in various healthcare settings and institutions including primary care, urgent care, psychiatry inpatient and outpatient, and Juvenile detention centers. All these experiences have given me the skills and knowledge needed to provide evidence-based care to clients of all ages, genders, and socioeconomic status. My goal is to ensure my clients leave the visit feeling satisfied with the care they receive. Providing high-quality care to clients of all ages with different psychiatry needs is a passion of mine. The client can choose the treatment options that work for them including pharmacology and non-pharmacological treatment approaches. I offer psychiatry evaluation, counseling, medication treatment, Genesight testing, Alpha-Stim therapy, Spravato (Eskatemine), and addiction treatment.
